Vintage Tanner Hammerli Match Rifle - 7.5x55
Late 60's to early 70's Hammerli Tanner 300 meter heavy single shot match rifle in 7.5x55 made by the late master gunsmith Andre Tanner at his workshop in Fulenbach. Tanner was hired by Hammerli in the early 60's to improve match rifle design. By the end of the decade, he had set up his own workshop and made rifles in cooperation with Hammerli. Twenty-seven inch heavy match barrel with mirror bright bore, this is an original Hammerli replacement barrel. Tanner patent quick adjustable match trigger with separate cocking lever. Nice walnut thumbhole target stock with UIT rail, adjustable butt and LOP (12.4-15") OAL=51.2", weight with sling=17.6 lbs. Front sight apparatus and Tanner diopter, excellent blue metal finish, stock with only few minor handling marks, rubber forend inserts are brittle, action is smooth as silk.
